How does the process work for me?
Download the Strong Girls - Guclu Kizlar mobile app
Turn on app notifications
Register as a volunteer
You will receive a message from a student (or maximum 4 depending on your selected number of students). Chat on the app and agree on the lessons.
You are matched when you respond to the student
The student(s) will book the lessons on your calendar one at a time. Mark busy if you are not available at a certain date.
Write a review on the home page of the app for other students/volunteers to benefit from your experience
Click the red 'unmatch' button on message screen if you want to unmatch from your student - anytime
Your commitment to your student is for 10 lessons
Step-by-step Guide to the app

Download the app “Strong Girls – Guclu Kizlar” on iOS or Android.

Turn on app notifications.

Register as a Volunteer.

Complete all the fields in your biography; you can also update it after registration.

Indicate how many students you can take at a time

Select your availability information

Mark a slot “busy” on your calendar if you are not available at a certain date

Your availability is in your local time zone, and the student sees it in her own time zone

The time zone is adjusted based on your phone’s physical location

Your biography is visible to everyone under “Our Team” on the home page.

Students will see your biography and they will send you a message.

When you reply, you will be automatically matched.

You can unmatch from the student any time, by clicking the red ‘Unmatch’ button on the message screen. The student can also unmatch any time.

Chat with your student via the app and agree on the online platform to do your lessons (eg. Skype, Zoom, Whatsapp, Facetime etc.)

Your student must book the lessons on your calendar, one at a time.

After each lesson, your student must mark the lesson as ‘completed’ so that she can book the next lesson.

You will receive an email with the details; the time on the email is your local time zone.

Your commitment to your student is for 10 lessons.

After you finish 10 lessons, you are again visible as ‘Available’ by all students.
